Working at height brings serious risks, which makes the correct use of safety harnesses and fall protection equipment absolutely essential. Our RoSPA Accredited Safety Harness Training Course equips you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to use safety harnesses safely and correctly, protecting both yourself and others.
This course is delivered by Neil Wilson Training at the Neil Wilson Training Centre, ensuring you receive expert instruction in a professional, hands-on environment.
About the Course
This half-day (4-hour) course is a blend of classroom-based learning and practical, hands-on training. You’ll gain a clear understanding of:
Legislation and safety requirements relating to working at height
Correct selection and safe use of safety harnesses
Fall arrest and fall restraint equipment and their applications
How to inspect, plan, and safely store harnesses and associated equipment
Correct fitting and adjustment of a safety harness
The course is designed to be engaging and practical, ensuring you leave not just with knowledge, but also with the competency to apply it safely in the workplace.
Assessment & Certification
At the end of the course, candidates complete a short test to confirm their understanding of the safe use of harnesses and fall arrest/restraint systems.
On successful completion, you will receive:
RoSPA Accredited Certificate
Photo ID Card (valid for 3 years)
These credentials demonstrate to employers and clients that you are competent in the safe use of safety harnesses and compliant with health and safety regulations.
